I look for character first — someone who serves the country, not a party. I want honesty, steadiness, and respect for the Constitution. I’m not chasing extremes or slogans; I’m looking for a grown-up who’ll listen, work across divides, and remember they represent all of the people.

Isn't it tragic that New Jersey voters, who complain about their high taxes and costs of living all the time, continue to vote for Democrats who are the reason their taxes and costs are so high.

The first is a non-issue for me. The second should be absolutely repealed in full. The third should have serious work / education requirements tied to it and use limited to staple goods only, no fast food, no ready to eat items, and no 'luxury' foods. I would make being on SNAP have mandatory classes those getting them have to attend in what amounts to home economics. That is, they have to demonstrate they can manage a budget, cook healthy meals with raw ingredients, operate a home kitchen, know housekeeping skills and apply them, etc. They can't do it, then they get to keep going to class until they can.
So, what Democrat policies do you favor most?
