The nightmare descent of New York City under Mamdani rule has begun.

Earl is excited!
Earl is an idiot. He thinks Amazon made a decision on Wednesday, based on events that happened the day before, and made a gigantic move to relocate a facility from the City to elsewhere based on that.

Any moves Amazon makes are thought out much more deliberately.

In any case, more than likely, Amazon is coming to the decision that they can move to suburban locations for their warehouses...rather than pay the rates expected in big cities...with no appreciable cost to delivery times.

It makes sense.

EVERY big city has that problem.

I just like to remind everyone to feel some pity for Earl. Imagine having to go through life with intellectual deficiency such as he has. Pity the poor guy...although, I acknowledge, that he is fun to poke. He reacts like surprised cat...which is fun to watch.

NYC , with a Jew hating "Global Intifada" supporter, a de-fund the police and tax the whites, and ownership of grocery store Socialist/Communist...what could go wrong?

Mamdani graduated from Bowdoin College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies, where he co-founded the Students for Justice in Palestine chapter, blending academic rigor with activism.

That Africana Studies degree should really prepare him for the intricacies of the largest city in America's economic, financial, and business problems.
Don't make me spit my coffee out laughing.

The nightmare descent of New York City under Mamdani rule has begun. Defunding the police, “free” services, and antisemitism are the tip of the spear. Staffing, policies, and mandates will issue from the mayor daily, implemented by an administration of hardcore socialists.

The outlook is far worse when measured in dollars and cents. Spending will soar from already unsustainable levels, even as the tax base exits. When the top 1% leave, along with major financial firms, they never return. The glory of New York will fade. The city will not even be able to sustainably pay its bills for basic services.

As they used to say in grade school, show your work.

It is typically claimed that New York contributes far more to the federal government than it receives in federal aid. The implication is that New York is impervious to federal cut-offs and holds the financial moral high ground.

Hogwash.

New York City pays nothing to the federal government. The so-called contribution, totaling an estimated $60 billion, excluding Social Security payments, is the individual income tax dollars paid directly by NYC residents to the U.S. Treasury. None of these payments has anything to do with the city budget. The federal government will receive these revenues regardless of where people reside.

What matters is the NYC budget and the source of revenues.

In 2025, NYC’s budget totaled $119.8 billion. The city starts the Mamdani-era madness with a forecasted annual deficit of $5 billion to $6 billion, with no answers how to fill this gap. Factor in the city’s dependence on $10.5 billion in direct payments from the federal government. President Trump says he will lower that number to the legal minimum. Mamdani insists that no cuts can be made, that these payments are inviolate. He is about to learn that U.S. taxpayers are not obligated to subsidize the schemes of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Even greater danger lurks. NYC stays afloat, financially speaking, only due to an additional $20.7 billion in annual direct aid from New York State. Why would this money be at risk, given the prospect of endless state Democrat rule? Because it is a shell game all the way down.

I'm just loving all the trumptard handwringing over a city mayor. You think this is a winning issue? You're such an idiot!

Don't bet your horses on the assumption that NYC is going to be a final failure.

Overall Assessment

The article is not entirely true—it's a mix of factual data spun into unsubstantiated hyperbole.

They all realize they are backing a turd...and anything that helps show that WE, THE PEOPLE consider their cult a cult of turds...they get all bent out of shape.

I feel sorry for them...actually pity them. But I gotta acknowledge that it is fun to watch them squirm.

I am thinking about the possibility that Mr. Trump is deliberately creating a political and cultural environment that he can execute a coup just before or during the fall elections next year.

Let it burn . They voted for it,...now THEY can live with it. Might be a great idea though if all the rats started running across the state line though. Going to be a whole lot of starving people hunting them down for food soon. Run rats RUN! Let them eat their copies of "Rules for Radicals" instead. Fuckum........

They're only policy is - "we hate the left". Other than that - they wing it - like trump's "tariff policy".

I certainly would not put it past him. He is the worst president we have ever had...and I expect that history will show his record was never broken.

He supposes he can be America's Putin, Xi, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Caligula. My guess is that he needs help wiping his ass after taking a dump.

Trump, chump, dump, plump, schlump. Makings of a good bit of poetry. Now what rhymes with "stupid."

In a few days?

LMAO!!!

Come on kid, if you think he's gonna fail at least wait til he does, lol.

Five factors (at least) competing to destroy NYC:

1: Wasteful and Dysfunctional Corruption of Big Government

2: Reduction in productivity due to the dissolution of the profit motive

3: Burden of high taxes and regulation on the Producers, further reducing productivity.

4:Increase in Racial Preferences and dysfunctional DEI hires, further reducing productivity.

5:Massive increase in crime leading to higher loses in production, as well as exponentially growing security costs.

I'll be surprised in NYC lasts until the end of Trump2.

Mamdanistan will rapidly become Caracas on the Hudson.

Communist idiocy like this follows a pattern, In Venezuela it was Hugo Chavez with free grocery stores, housing, medical care, buses, etc. Mamdani is an Islamist recreation of Chavez. The socialist with a charming smile promising everything to the people while prosperity crumbles around them. After those like Chavez and Mamdani turn everything to shit - as they always do - then come the Nicolas Maduro types - the fascist strongman to rule with an iron fist.

How long will this last? Mamdanistan is still in the USA, and the State of New York still has authority. Except that Kathy Hochul has been ordered by her boss, George Soros, to back Mamdani 100%.

Things may get very ugly in Mamdanistan.
