Trump Administration Says They Will “Rigorously Prosecute” Low-Level Marijuana Violations

A recent study of 246 drivers killed in traffic crashes over a nearly six-year period found that over 40% had active THC – the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis – in their system.

In addition, average THC blood levels far exceeded what’s considered to cause impairment.

...the combined effect of legalization and retail sales was a 5.8% increase in injury crash rates and a 4.1% increase in fatal crash rates

This isn’t leadership — it’s a flailing, last-ditch distraction from a party that can’t govern, can’t unify, and can’t tell the truth. Expect more lies, more noise, and more collapse.

Another failure by the DonOld administration to uphold the wishes of the majority

“The poll, which includes an oversampling of Republicans, finds that 66 percent of respondents support legalizing the adult-use of marijuana, 68 percent believe that states should be able to determine their own marijuana policies free from federal interference, and 70 percent believe that it should be rescheduled federally.”

The topic is not DUI.

Oh, so now you're going to pretend you suddenly care about the use of something causing injury and death. :palm:

More of the usual selective poutrage....

Parents who drink big gulps are more likely to leave their children orphans, should we ban them?

Firearms are subject to the 2nd Amendment. Marijana has no constitutional protections.

Yet guns cause roughly 200x as many deaths as marijuana related car accidents.

And you continue to use the 2nd Amendment as a flimsy excuse to keep them around in overabundance.

And constitutional protection is not the point anyway.

The point is which one is more dangerous and deadly and causes more death and injury.

Any sane, rational, normally intelligent human being would see that in terms of constitutional protection, we've got it backwards.

But then, you're not in that group.

And you obviously don't really care about public safety anyway.

By your logic, we should just ban cars as that would do away with all car accidents. It's just a reductio ad absurdum argument, and nothing more.

Drinking is much more dangerous. Why isn't trump going after every bar and restaurant. No - this is part of trump's dickhead "war on the left'. His problem - there are a lot of powerful trump supporters who smoke weed.

This is a losing issue for trump and just one of the ways he's trying to feed his base and distract from Epstein.

Accident

When comparing the risk of accidents between marijuana and alcohol, the data shows that alcohol is the more dangerous substance. Here are some key points to consider:

Wow. He'd better try to find a different distraction. This one's not that popular!!
