Trump got more injunction because he tried to do more illegal things, but the new regime is changing the law, so he is winning some things. In essence they are no longer illegal.

This is how things shift when the Supreme Court takes a hard right or left turn!

What Bolton is accused of is that when he was writing his book, he shared data that he could not with his Editor (his wife) and that information sharing is the breaking of the laws he is charged with. They have emails between him and his wife with that material.

Boltons defense in the past has been he submitted the information to the gov't agency that approves or disallows such sharing and he got the all clear but it seems that all clear might be for the final form that went out in the book only. That everything that went out in the book was cleared. But these private emails with his Editor (wife) that did not end up in the book were not cleared and not appropriate to share.
