Venezuela

Someone should go and arrest and jail Obama and Clinton for their crimes then. You o.k with that ?
Sure. Why wouldn't I be okay with that?

Whether former President Barack Obama committed war crimes is a subject of significant debate and has not been established in any court of law. The claims of war crimes largely stem from his administration's use of drone strikes and its involvement in conflicts in the Middle East.

Drugs aren't just a Venezuela problem, they're a global problem. Attacking one country isn't going to stop drugs from flowing in, and you can't attack all countries that do it. When you talk about Maduro it sounds like you're promoting regime change, not just stopping drugs.
This is fairly correct.

These drugs don't just come from one country. Illegit drug labs using legit chemicals exist in every nation. Most fentanyl labs are in Mexico. The biggest profit is seen in trunk shipments getting these drugs into the U.S.

You destroy one, another pops up. You can't kill it. The free market is immortal. As long as there is a demand for these drugs, there will be suppliers for them.

Worse, the local dealers are themselves suffering from addiction. They deal to pay for their own habit. It's a very destructive cycle.

People are suffering and dying from these drugs. As the market expands, the homelessness expands with it.

There is no easy solution.

* The chemical manufacturers are legit businesses.
* The drug manufactures aren't, but the do supply a market demand, and you can't kill the free market, even if you drive it into a black market.
* The trunk shipments (the most profitable part of the drug trade), likewise can't be stopped, no matter how many of their boats you blow out of the water. Other means will be used, and others will simply take their place.
* The local dealers are themselves part of the addiction problem, trapped in the same cycle of hell their customers are.
* The end user is entering a world that is a terrible prison, with no practical way out, and great misery.

Medical intervention might save a very few, but the numbers are just too great to deal with on any practical level.

Sound bleak? It is.

I wish there was a better solution for these people. Truly, I do.

Naww Jumbo would never do that.
He did though......

Lyndon B. Johnson had a special console with three television sets in his Oval Office to monitor the nightly news from the three major networks—ABC, CBS, and NBC—simultaneously. He also had similar setups at his Texas ranch and even in his hospital room, and was known to keep up with news tickers in addition to watching TV.
  • Purpose: The three TVs were a way for President Johnson to stay informed by watching all three major network news broadcasts at once.
  • Location: The consoles were installed in both the Oval Office and his ranch, and a similar setup was used in his hospital room.
  • Other technology: He also had two teleprinters or news tickers that ran continuously, providing him with instant news updates in addition to the television coverage.

Yep,....I saw that car too when I toured Johnson ranch. His daughter Lucys car was there also,...as well as an old Airforce 1. The house wasn't very big at all,....and the secret service quarters next store was quite small if I remember right.
