Gaza peace plan & Trump-lovers: spiking the football way too early

Trump peace plan for Gaza could be just a 'pause' before Hamas strikes again, experts warn

"If Hamas doesn’t disarm, we won’t have to wait years ...Things could reignite within weeks,' says leading analyst

The emerging Gaza peace framework crafted by President Donald Trump could reshape regional dynamics, but analysts warn that unless Hamas is fully stripped of its weapons and power, this will amount to little more than a pause for the terrorist group before it renews conflict.

Dr. Michael Milshtein, head of the Moshe Dayan Forum at Tel Aviv University and one of Israel’s foremost experts on Hamas, says any plan that assumes the group will dissolve misunderstands its nature.

"Forget words like peace and coexistence — that won’t happen," he told Fox News Digital. Hamas leaders, he explained, have made clear they will not accept an international mandate or a Tony Blair-style trusteeship. "They’re prepared to let a cosmetic Palestinian administration run daily affairs, but Hamas will operate behind the scenes, like Hezbollah in Lebanon."

Hamas needs to be wiped out completely every last breathing POS

Israel launches Gaza airstrikes, trades accusations of ceasefire violations with Hamas

Israel launched airstrikes on southern Gaza early Sunday and accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire by carrying out attacks on its forces.

Hamas restated its commitment to the deal brokered by President Donald Trump and said it had no knowledge of any clashes. A senior official accused Israel of working to “fabricate flimsy pretexts” for its own actions.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement that it had begun strikes in the Rafah area "to eliminate the threat" posed by militants and "dismantle tunnel shafts and military structures used for terrorist activity."

Israel said it was acting "in accordance with the ceasefire agreement," accusing militants of firing an anti-tank missile and gunfire toward IDF troops in the area. These actions "constitute a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, and the IDF will respond firmly," it said.

An Israeli military official earlier accused Hamas of a "bold violation of the ceasefire" with incidents including a rocket-propelled grenade attack and a sniper attack against Israeli forces.

Israeli strikes across Gaza kill 22 Palestinians, medical and civil defence officials say

At least 22 Palestinians have been killed in a series of Israeli air strikes across northern and central Gaza, Hamas medical and civil defence officials have said.

They said five sites had been hit, including residential homes. A senior Hamas commander was among the dead, according to local sources.

The Israeli military said it had struck targets in Gaza in response to an incident earlier on Saturday, when it said an "armed terrorist" had fired at soldiers after crossing the Strip's so-called "yellow line" designating areas under full Israeli control. Hamas denied this.

Both sides have accused each other of violating the ceasefire deal agreed on six weeks ago.

If an enemy conducted a drone attack on the White House during Thanksgiving dinner and flattened it more than Trump flattened the East Wing resulting killing the entire Trump clan, grandchildren and all, would it be a war crime?

Jihadists are well known to consolidate their command posts, comm centers and family living quarters.

When SEAL Team Six attacked Osama bin Laden's compound, Obama had alternative choices. The least risky was to just bomb the shit out of killing everyone inside; other men, their wives and kids. He opted for the riskier option of inserting the SEALs not to save lives, but to confirm that OBL was DEAD.

I have zero sympathy for Gazan terrorists and their supporters.

Hamas commits war crimes against their own people by embedding themselves in a civilian population and using them as human shields.

No modern professional military would even consider doing that. The Ukrainian armed forces are trying to protect their civilians, not get them killed.

Agreed on all points.

The Israelis aren't guiltless in all of this, but I'd easily put 90% of the blame on the Gazans and their Iranian supporters.

Yes, no one party is saintly pure, but Hamas has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I'm confident that every poster on this board, if they were forced to make a choice, would choose to live under the Israeli government rather than under the rule of Hamas... and that even includes Moon, lol

Agreed, which leads me to believe the problem isn't their support for Hamas, but their hatred of the Jews.
