NFL 2025 season

I enjoyed it because it was against a NFCE opponent.
It will take me a while to get over the fourth quarter of the GIANTS @ BRONCO'S game. Like...about 5 years or so. I have to console myself with the fact that the JINTS played an incredible 3 quarters. It looked as though a miracle had occurred.

But...not to be. They axed the kicker, but it was not all his fault. In fact, I think this loss should be shouldered by the coach...who played chicken-hearted football during the last quarter. "Prevent defense" almost always devolves into "prevent offense."

Oh, well...there is always this week. GIANTS contend with the Eagles in Philly. They played a great game against them a few weeks ago...but...ummm...I expect the Eagles to be looking for revenge.

We'll see.

My New England Patriots are now 9-2 and have as a quarterback Drake Maye
as being the next Tom Brady, although I don't see any player ever getting 7 or
more Super Bowl titles under their belt the way Brady did. Brady will always be the
...........GOAT................

The bad calls in the NFL seem to be showing that allowing gambling was a mistake. The NBA is worse.
It's been my belief ever since the 2009 season that the NFL is nothing more than rigged/fixed "entertainment" much like the WWE. --- I find it to be quite predictable as to who will end up winning "key games" (especially as the season progresses) depending upon certain factors, which even includes what is being hyped up during the pre-game chatter. Marketable QBs always play a big role in it too, as do "riveting storylines".

Bad calls are just the way of tilting the outcome of the games in a storyline-favored (and/or Vegas-favored) direction.

Did you predict the Cowboys to beat the Eagles? I thought it was going to be a good old fashioned butt kicking for the Cowboys

No.

Without seeing any of the pre-game chatter or gathering any data of my own, I thought so too.
I rooted for GB this weekend . They are my 2nd favorite team
I made a point of watching them because I thought my favorite team would lose for sure.

I re-watched the Cowboy Eagles game this morning and it was almost as sweet as the 1st time.

I'm somewhat interested to see who wins on Thursday between the Packers and the Lions. The NFC North is quite competitive for the top spot this year.
