Communism is the end goal of Marxism.

Socialism is the transitory state.

Communism is a form of socialism. So is fascism. Marx described fascism as the stepping stone to communism.

Marx postulated that the totalitarian dictatorship of socialism will fade away. The democrats are openly admitting that they never want to go beyond the totalitarian dictatorship of socialism.

The Democrats and Marx are both lying here.

ALL forms of socialism is based on theft of wealth. Because of this, it is typically implemented by oligarchies and dictatorships and implemented by force. In the United States, oligarch bureaucracies are set up to implement fascism, and in some cases, communism. The wealth they steal is designed to funneled into the hands of 'the Elite'. They distribute a small portion to 'the poor' (just enough to keep them dependent and poor!) and keep the bulk of the wealth they stole for themselves.

This is classic Karl Marx.
