Happy Kwanzaa!

Are you celebrating with the traditional meal?
A deep tradition dating all the way back to 2013...

I celebrate ToeNail Clipping - a deep cultural tradition espousing the principles of keratin manicuring that has taught children for generations the principles of community through emery boards.

They are excellent principles. @Cypress and I have long discussed religions of the world and how they relate to each other.

The militant atheists are quick to point out how Christianity "stole" stories and precepts from more ancient religions but they never, ever bitch about other religions. Why?
Is Kwanza actually a religious tradition? Or is it just a cultural-heritage celebration?

I salute anyone who celebrates their heritage.

As for religions, Christianity and Islam are the major religious landscapes in Africa, hands down. Though I'm certain elements of African folk religions have been incorporated into these two Abrahamic religions.

It seems to be a mixture of both, but agreed it's more cultural.
