Rev. Peterson Repudiates NAACP's Anti-Tea Party Resolution and Blasts Michelle Obama for Embracing Racist Black Group.

Contact: Ermias Alemayehu, BOND Action, 323-556-2623

LOS ANGELES, July 14 /Standard Newswire/ -- Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson (photo), Founder and President of BOND Action, is repudiating the NAACP (National Association for The Advancement of Colored People) for passing a resolution condemning members of the conservative Tea Party movement as "racists." The NAACP is charging Tea Party members with using "racial epithets" and accusing them of engaging in "explicitly racist behavior." Rev. Peterson is calling the NAACP's claims "baseless" and is blasting First Lady Michelle Obama for appearing as the keynote speaker at their annual convention. The following is Rev. Peterson's statement:

"This resolution is a politically motivated attack by the NAACP designed to smear, intimidate, and derail a great conservative grass roots movement. Where's the NAACP's resolution condemning the New Black Panther Party and its members for advocating the killing of 'white crackers' and 'white babies'? Where's their proof of 'racist' Tea Party behavior? This is the height of hypocrisy.

"The NAACP is a racist and bigoted group. And shame on Michelle Obama for embracing their racist platform. Instead of condemning this hateful resolution and rebuking the organization, she encouraged them to 'increase their intensity.' This is pure wickedness.

"Barack Obama came to divide and the first lady and members of his administration are carrying out his radical socialist agenda. I encourage conservative white Americans to stand strong and not be intimidated by name-calling and accusations of 'racism.' I'm also calling on all Americans who love their country to get involved in the Tea Party movement and let your vote count in November!"

Since 2003, Rev. Peterson has spearheaded a nationwide boycott of the NAACP, calling it a tool of the elite Socialist-wing of the Democratic Party. For interview requests call Ermias Alemayehu at (323) 556-2623 or (213) 804-1872. Rev. Peterson is also available for speaking engagements. For more information call (323) 556-2623. popspin shit hisself when he saw this thread :D

What I love about this Org. is that it is not identifying as "balck" anything, though he does work with the black community to enocourage fathers and familes...but he does the same with white, hispanic or purple fathers as well. Note too his "all American's" focus...Like I said..."finally"

I can hear it now: 'he's not black enough'. :palm:
The NAACP had a spokesman on the local Fox Affiliate last night trying to say that they were not saying it about ALL of the TEA Party movement, just certain portions, etc.

When you appear to be backtracking it means you either didn't effectively communicate your idea, or you went too far.

i think the naacp shot themselves in teh foot by making this proclamation

this does nothing but polarize people and sidetracks of the real issues...as i've said for well over a year now, the race card has maxed out and is no longer taken at relevant establishments...

the fact obama's wife was there and wholly supported this, and obama's silence on the matter, leads me to believe that our president supports this polarizing politiking....i thought obama had moved beyond the destructrive politics of race, however, it appears i am wrong and obama is nothing but cheap racist

i hope the dems continue to run on this platform, because it will result in their early retirement

They cite racists signs that say "Lynch Obama" but have no photographs of them.
