I'm beginning to think that trump, like his ignorant anti-American MAGA cult trash followers, wants to start another civil war in this country.
And soon.
The right-wing gun sucking goofball trash have been talking about going to war with the left for years now.
Doomsday preppers and paramilitary militia goons along with neo-Nazis and skinheads, are all right-wing ideologues who love to rant about doing away with the left in general and minorities in particular.
Now they've got in trump, an unhinged leader who is reckless and mentally unstable enough to intentionally create the conditions conducive to giving them the green light and setting them off.
"Stand back and stand by".
His association with groups like The Proud Boys and The Oath Keepers etc, is well known and with enough support from the MAGA contingent in Congress, he could potentially make it happen.
I would not be surprised if, before the end of his term, there are gun battles and open warfare on the streets of US cities. Especially those with Democrat leadership and large Democrat voting numbers.
Hell, it's possible we might even see it this year in the run up to the mid terms.
We've already seen the lengths to which trump will go and the depths to which he'll stoop, to cement his grip on power.
All this ICE activity we're currently seeing may just be a warm up to what could be coming.
They are playing to that long recessed desire, of many magat racists to get a redo of the civil war and put things back as they were before losing, yes.
But do those in gov't actually want or think this will lead to civil war? No.
It is more insidious than that.
This is part of a decades long plan, by a hard core Federalist Society group to win the next civil war in the courts and how they have packed the courts for decades to achieve it.
The steps needed are:
- push POTUS powers to the extreme neutering and reducing Congress ability to check him.
- have the supreme court seize powers belonging to Congress and write laws, like POTUS immunity, by fiat such as POTUS immunity, which would require a Constitutional amendment for COngress and the States to create that power. You want citizens not questioning how the SC just basically added to the Constitution when they have no such power.
- allow any level of extreme Gerrymandering such that no matter the number of 'left' votes they cannot win elections
- SC to allow for more POTUS (Federal) intrusion into Elections by expanding their role, and diminishing the power of the States.
Why?
Because while the GOP was on a fairly clear path to future election dominance, the path was to increase the big tent to focus on more Latino's and black voters (all PoC), with a 'traditional values, law and order model, and to put them increasingly in positions of power. There was already talk of someone like Byron Donalds being the person who could likely win for them in the future.
To the hard core racists on the right that big tent compromise was never going to be acceptable to them. Instead they want to tear apart the country, shred the constitution and remake things as i say above where basically you can lock in control of POTUS and elections, with solely a Supreme Court (captured) to check him.
