What you have in the NY Times video STOPPING the video in order to highlight EXACTLY Ross' movements in relation to the moving car. Even the body cam footage shows Ross adjacent to the left headlight MOVING IN AND PARTIALLY ONTO THE HOOD AS THE CAR IS TURNING AWAY FROM HIM.

He was hit. He suffered internal injuries as a result of it too.
No trial, Dumber. The driver BROKE THE LAW by interfering with federal officers, BROKE THE LAW by failing to following lawful orders, and BROKE THE LAW by attempting to run over a federal officer, and BROKE THE LAW by attempting to flee.
The officer had all the authority he needed in this case to use lethal force.
