Why does the heavily Republican South have ubiquitous statutes and monuments of Confederate generals, but virtually none of Abraham Lincoln or the iconic Union generals? Why is the Confederate battle flag held in such high esteem in the Republican southern states?

Yeah, I don't give two hoots either about it being black history month. I do question why there isn't a month dedicated as 'White History Month'. After all, Our country was founded by white people.

One would expect every black American to vote for Republicans, knowing that it was the democrats that had put their ancestors into slavery and into a rope noose.
