Our so-called "biggest trading partners" were just mooching off of the "USA teat" at the expense of the USA citizenry. How do you suppose they can afford their so-called "free healthcare" (and related) policies? It's quite easy when you suckle off of someone else and don't have to pay for your own defense.

The US has been the biggest beneficiary since the end of WW2, during the 'freer trade' era. This is without question.

Did Canada benefit, and use tax payer money to prioritize healthcare and other social services while the US chose corporate profits and billionaire tax cuts, YES. They are both allowed that choice.

Trump is greatly diminishing America. Its economic power, its relationship with allies are all smashed and there will be a decades long decline in US Nation wealth due to his tariffs and policies and shattering of relations with allies.

You have to be the dumbest of magat cultists to think this ends in a long term good for the US.
