Superbowl Halftime Show

Police must have seen her adult ad on craigslist.

Was it this one?

Literally singing about his dick, how his chick thinks it is fire, how one girl f*cks in an Audi rather than a Honda, who is going to do what when he "sticks it in"... Things most parents in this country would not think is "family friendly". That you have "great things" to say about it when you literally have no idea what he talked about defines how "approval" is political rather than what you actually liked.

Now personally I do not care if it was "family friendly", I just wonder if the Superbowl folk would be as appreciative if they actually understood it as they consistently ask for "family friendly" entertainment at halftime.

Are these your own translations or did you read them somewhere?

Bunny had the 4th highest rating of all time for a halftime show, That, even though Rightys has spent a few weeks making a big, ugly stupid racial, case against him and taking the Trumpys to watch a very dull Kid Rock show, Bunny did fine. His music does not suit me, but then it does not have to.
We're not sports fans; we watched it just to see what all the Reichwing angst was about. We weren't sorry. It was energetic, fun entertainment. We thought the wedding was just part of the act. It was real!

I'm sure a lot of other people tuned in just to see what the hype was about.

I wonder if any of the Spanish speaking people could actually Understand what he was singing? Even if you were Spanish speaking he was just mumbling the entire performance.... So until they broke down the lyrics , nobody really knew what he was saying....

He wasn't. But it's interesting that as appalling, awful, and allegedly anti-American it was, you admit to watching the whole thing. Rather than the puppy bowl or the Reichwing Kid Rock Pedofest for All White Snowflakes(tm). :rofl2:

Oops!

Two things I've wondered about for years, along with jillions of other people: 1) How does a cult leader blind so many people into following him, and 2) why did so many otherwise intelligent Germans fall for Hitler?

It's exceedingly creepy -- and sad -- to be living in a time when the answers to those questions are current events, isn't it?
1) IMO, he didn't. He capitalized on a significant part of the population which was disheartened by other government leaders. A significant part of this was GW's claims of why the US needed to invade Iraq, then spent a trillion dollars and 4,431 total American deaths (including both killed in action and non-hostile) and 31,994 wounded in action (WIA). It was all waste. Blood for Oil. This is why Trump's campaigned on ending the "Forever Wars"....which also turned out to be a lie.

2. When people are afraid and see a dark future, they are more likely to reach for a lifeline from a messianic leader.

I just love how he has such power over American white supremacist that they're still clutching their pearls over a musical performance days later!

Me too! He's a global superstar, with a Grammy and a net worth of over $100 million. That last is, of course, the MAGAT definition of success but only if it's a white guy's fortune, apparently.

Are those the lyrics he actually sang? Some artists have changed or eliminated lyrics for public broadcast. Also, he sang a compilation of songs, not entire songs. Four days later and I still haven't seen anyone provide a translation of what was actually sung during the Halftime show. The second question would be, "are any lyrics in violation of FCC regs?"

They sold the halftime show to Jay-Z, well they let him pay for that choice. I don't think you'll be seeing a Country halftime show for a very long time, Jay-Z likes rap, you will get rap.
Possibly, but the show is a money-maker. The high price for commercial time is an indicator. If the halftime show is a dud, it will adversely affect the price of next year's sales. Bad Bunny was chosen due to popular appeal. The more viewers, the higher prices that could be charged for commercials.

As with almost everything in America these days, it's all about the money, not following traditions.....except the tradition to make a buttload of money. LOL

This year’s Super Bowl ads cost an average of $8 million per 30-second unit, but a handful of spots sold for $10 million-plus, a record, said Peter Lazarus, who leads advertising and partnerships for NBC Sports. He said he was calling February, with the Super Bowl, Olympics and the NBA All-Star Game, “legendary February.”
