If the US:

A. Has a draft
B. Barron's number comes up

Then I agree. Although it is likely, just as with Vietnam, Barron would get a deferment because he is currently attending college--like Bill Clinton did back then.

Or trump could get him a job with the National Guard.

Not an AWOL pilot like Bush Jr., but maybe a desk jockey job.

One less thing for you and your other pansy-ass male family members to avoid and weasel out of.
Was I or any of my other male family members not in the military? You have to the the most retarded poster in this site and believe me there are a time of retards aka leftists in this site.

And what do you suppose might happen if any commander in chiefs child was drafted and was captured by the enemy? How do suppose that might change the way the commander in chief executes the war? You people are first level thinkers. In other words simpletons.

Shouldn't change anything if trump had a miniscule fraction of the balls he and his sycophants like you claim he does.

Bush II was never AWOL, and Dan Rather lost his job at CBS over that fuck up. Maybe he could become a PAO (Public Affairs Officer) like Bagman (Hunter Biden) was for like a few months before being dismissed from service for drug use.

Or, he could do like Bill Clinton--the only clear case of unequivocal draft dodging by a President--and sign up for ROTC and as soon as he gets his waiver, quit the program...

I guess when your daddy's a US Senator, you can just take off whenever you want to and call it whatever you like. While still getting paid, no less.

Speaking of drug use, makes you wonder why Bush declined to take his required physical examination....

Hmmmmm.... ๐Ÿค”

Naaahhhhh.... just get daddy's "doctor" to write him a "bone spurs" letter like he did for trump sr.

Which was a much clearer case of unequivocal draft dodging by a "president".... or the POS that is passing for one at the moment.

Let's start with "honorable discharge." This shows a lack of knowledge on how the US military works. Bush was a commissioned officer. Officers aren't honorably discharged or receive any sort of discharge. They are commissioned and they are either dismissed from service by the military / government for cause or they can resign the commission. If they retire, their commission remains in place and they can be recalled to service.

Bush's unit flew the F-102. In 1972, this aircraft was being retired from service. Bush's unit and the pilots in it, had yet to be retrained on some other aircraft. If Bush was seen as surplus to the unit--likely given his junior rank and status--there was no need for his presence. It's far more likely he was in a non-flying status and whether he took his annual flight exam or not that wouldn't have changed.

Bush likely got permission to go to Alabama and the assignment there was merely perfunctory as he was in the national guard. He likely just checked in with them--much as John Kerry had to with the Bainbridge MD reserve center--while he was there.
Speaking of drug use, makes you wonder why Bush declined to take his required physical examination....

Because the likely reason was Bush was in a non-flying status due to lack of anything to fly he was trained on.

Difference. The doctor said he had them. What is the military supposed to do with that? On the other hand, signing up for ROTC and saying ON PAPER YOU SIGNED that you would participate, and then quitting right after you get your draft wavier says you intentionally were dodging the draft.
Which was a much clearer case of unequivocal draft dodging by a "president".... or the POS that is passing for one at the moment.
Clinton's.

His daddy should ask him to step up and serve like the young Brit royalty all do, since this war is a war of choice by his daddy.

Would make a real good statement about how the Trump family was not just using the 'kids of people' for their play wars.
