Yes, the price of gas will probably be going up some more in the short term before it comes back down. Right now, even with the increase, gas is still cheaper than it was during about 3+ years of the Autopen's term.

You spent three years during the Autopen never once complaining or freaking out about gas prices that were higher than they are currently are, yet you've spent the last week complaining and freaking out about gas prices that have recently increased from the very low rate that they've normally been at during both of Trump's terms.

I remember when leftists freaked out about gas reaching roughly $2.70 or $2.80 per gallon in WI during Trump's first term (up from around $2.20 per gallon). I also remember that price fairly quickly returning back down to the $2.20 area.

I remember when gas shot up over $3/gallon in WI very quickly after the Autopen took over. Not a peep from leftists. Then it shot up over $4/gallon in WI over the course of a year. Still not a peep from leftists. Then, after the Autopen 'poked the Russia bear' and Russia invaded Ukraine, gas prices shot up to almost $5/gallon in WI. Then leftists FINALLY had to admit that gas prices were high, but they blamed President Putin for the high gas prices even though they were simultaneously doing damage control for the Autopen with their mantra that "Presidents don't control gas prices".

I lived through the last few years, FlipTheBird... I paid attention. I noticed leftists freaking out about a very temporary period of $2.70 - $2.80/gal gasoline under Trump while remaining quiet about three years of $3.30 - $4.00/gal gasoline under the Autopen, while now freaking out again about what will be a temporary period of $3.00 - $3.20 (or so)/gal gasoline under Trump.

People like Bill Maher, Jerry Falwell, and Richard Dawkins gave the word evangelical a bad reputation. Evangelicals were responsible for slavery abolition, and there is a long tradition of social justice in evangelicalism. There is unfortunately also the fire and brimstone nutjobs!

Based on my social experimental research the ELCA is the most liberal church I've run across here. The United Methodists, Unitarians, and Episcopalians are quite liberal too.

Trump was responsible for those gas prices because his mishandling of Covid disrupted supply production, supply routes, and local distribution.

Biden cured that.

We are going to have a hell of a time "curing" Trump's presidency this time. The tariff mishandling could cause a 58 trillion dollar debt.

The ELCA pick and choose which parts of The Bible they like and which parts they discard in favor of the "ways of the world". The Book of Revelation has a very serious warning about such activity.
