BREAKING: U.S. accelerates planning to launch ground operation against Iran. CBS News reports: "The U.S. is preparing to deploy elements of the 82nd Airborne Division into the Middle East region."This is on top of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and the 11th MEU, plus other ground assets assembling in the region. All evidence now suggest Trump will order troops to execute a limited objective task to secure a small piece of Iranian terrain, possibly within days.This is a disaster in the making, as Iran is too vast of a country, has too many ground defensive capabilities, and even the successful seizure of ANYTHING in the Persian Gulf would not change the fundamentals of the war - but the greater likelihood is that we would suffer significant casualties, while still failing.It is very discouraging that the Commander-in-Chief has so little regard for the lives of American service members.

The International Energy Agency now wants "alternating license plat restrictions" (among other things), where you're not allowed to be on the roads on certain days.They also want to reduce all road speed limits everywhere, so that traveling by road is increasingly suffocating and slow.Their 10 Recommended Measures:1) Work from home — Remote work could cut oil use from commuting by up to 6% nationally.2) Reduce highway speed limits — Lowering limits by at least 10 km/h reduces fuel consumption for cars and trucks.3) Shift to public transport — Increased use of buses, trains, and metros to replace private car trips.4) Increase carpooling — Sharing rides to reduce the number of vehicles on the road.5) Adopt more efficient driving practices — Smoother acceleration and braking to save fuel.6) Car-free Sundays or alternating license plate restrictions — Rotation schemes to limit overall vehicle use.7) Improve fleet efficiency — Businesses and governments to fast-track more fuel-efficient vehicle deployment.8) Avoid non-essential air travel — A reduction of around 40% of flights taken for work purposes is feasible in the short term while maintaining productivity.9) Switch to electric or modern cooking solutions — Encouraging electric cooking and other modern options can reduce reliance on LPG.10) Leverage flexibility in petrochemical feedstocks — Industry can help free up LPG for essential uses while reducing oil consumption through quick operational improvements. And then there was that song and dance where the Empire made a big show of removing the missile racks from two bombers in the Rump of the Uk the other day.....why the production?
Likely because they are still burning expensive in short supply missiles because they have failed to take out Irans air defenses....which include Russian and Chinese gear and crews.....they want to avoid embarrassment by pretending otherwise.

By song and dance I mean they rolled the bombers out the the fenceline to make sure cameras had a good view as they did it. Remember too that the Empire constantly lies its ass off about how its latest war is going....Trump for instance produces a steady stream of obvious lies.
