Rewrite that it was nonsensical. Iran was being investigated on the ground for compliance. When Trump killed the deal, they waited almost a year before they started building up their nuclear program. They were hoping that America would come to its senses. Trump has no senses. We are ruled by his whims.
America has been in conflict for 93 percent of its life. We are world wide aggressors who have looted the world for rhe rich and corporations. Iran was helping neighbors fight off Israel and America. Trump proved they were correct to do that.
No modern nation has come close to the world damage we have caused. Remember Vietnam, Korea, Iraq , Afghanistan and so many others.

You cannot see what a horrible, destructive person Trump is. Iran was no threat to America. We are certainly a threat to them. That shows they are right.
If Iran went after a nuke, this war would likely not have happened. Having nukes deters some countries from attacking due to the risk. Two nuclear powers are attacking Iran.

Wait... are we back to 'regime change' in Iran?

Because last i saw after Trump declared it would be regime change and he would pick the leader, what instead happened was a much younger and more hardcore extremist Ayatollah was put in place with a much higher chance of people being executed.

Kind of like Venezuela where the same regime is still running the country and nothing changed for the people there.

What do you mean "not as much now".

The last time we "obliterated" their nukes, according to Trump that ensured we had YEARS of safety and no nuke threat and yet within a short few months Trump told us Iran was a week or two away from being able to hit the US with a nuke.

How incompetent did the Trump admin have to be to let Iran get so close that they were only a week or two away from being able to land a nuke in the US before the Trump admin acted.

There has never prior been any such suggestion that Iran got that close under any other Admin.

The hardline son of the prior Ayatollah took over in Iran when there was a push prior to replace the prior Ayatollah with someone more moderate prior as the older Ayatollah passed away. So this move by Trump LOCKED IN for another ~40years an even more hardline gov't.

And if you meant Venezuela it was the #2 of the same party. No regime change. Same party. Same abuses. new leader.

The proper way to say that is, you believe Iran is a threat. There is nothing axiomatic about their threat. America is always the biggest threat. Trump proved that again. We attacked them while we were in a peace conference to remove much of the Iranian threat. That means nothiong to you. We did a Pearl Harbor sneak attack and you applaud.
People like you are the threat. No matter what Trump does, you approve. He is the most flawed and disgusting person to ever stay in the White House. He is even destroying the building.
