Search for American F15E crew

U.S. Air Force launches F-15 rescue mission in Iran

Current reporting indicates that two crew members successfully ejected, but their exact location had not been determined at the time of publication. That uncertainty appears to have triggered a concentrated aerial search over the suspected crash area, with multiple U.S. aircraft reportedly operating in support of the mission.

Aircraft seen over the area reportedly included an HC-130J Combat King II, the Air Force’s dedicated personnel recovery support aircraft. The plane was reportedly accompanied by what appeared to be two HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopters, a type specifically used for combat rescue missions involving downed aircrew.

Even more this time because he has nothing to lose but a third term.

His speech a couple of days ago was not for the American people; it was for what is left of the leadership in Iran, Russia, N. Korea, and China. Side-eye to much of Europe's weak leaders.

Lefties love to try to pin down military actions to the minute and second. Bad strategy, but lefties don't think long term. The receptionist is a prime example.

Although I am not a fan of the US taking out the leaders of other countries, Iran may be my exception. Whatever the outcome, we have severely damaged their ability to present a threat.

US F-15E jet confirmed shot down over Iran as Tehran releases wreckage images

Aviation experts said the wreckage pictured was in fact from a F-15E, from the US air force’s 494th squadron, based at RAF Lakenheath in the UK, though it could not at first be confirmed when and where the pictures were taken.

US officials familiar with the situation later confirmed off the record that an F-15E had been brought down and the Pentagon was scrambling to find the crew. There was no official comment from the US military about the incident.

Subsequent footage filmed in Iran showed a US C-130 Hercules and HH-60 Pavehawk helicopters flying low and at one point refuelling together, amid fresh Iranian speculation that the plane crew may have ejected and survived.
