Trump said this on Truth social a few hours after he was briefed that a US F15 was shot down in Iran, and search parties were being sent out to try and find and recover the survivors or bodies.

But put that aside, as this war can GENERATE A GUSHER FOR THE WORLD, which is the priority and were Trump's focus is. And by "for the world" Trump means the big Oil companies and Military complex as citizens will continue to pay the price and get poorer as a result.

AMERICA FIRST!!!!!

Trickle down, baby, trickle down!

Yup.

this group of Magats who support Trump are All In on a re-do of the endless Neo-Con wars of the decades past, while talking about establishing permanent presence and control in the Middle East and taking their oil. A re-do of what led to the rise of Al Qaeda and many other top ME terror groups who targeted America.

This same group is so poorly educated that they are all in 'trickle down' again and actively support Trump efforts to take all of the Tax payer money sent to the Federal govt and not provide services that the US people can use and benefit from and instead send it to the Industrial Military Complex..

I guess you don't understand the concept of trickle down. It was too much to expect.

We have had trickle-up for many decades. That is why the wealth gap is obscene, and corporations regulate themselves.
If congress is not doing enough to prevent monopolies and other abuses, it has nothing to do with the concept of trickle down in an economy.

What is too much to expect is a rational intelligent post from you. Trickle down economics, as it comes from the Republicans has been largely a falicy destroyed by republican legislation which allows increasingly for the wealth and productivity created by corporations and their workers to be almost entirety by the shateholder class

Why don't you explain what trickle up means.
Easy for most people. We are giving tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations. We are slashing regulations and rules. Therefore, the money goes steadily up to the top who do not need it. That is a huge contributor to the outrageous wealth gap we have. It is worse than it was during the Gilded Age.

Not that in expect that you will read or could understand it even if you did...

------
Ai summary:

The functional definition of trickle-up economics becomes the systematic redirection of public wealth and regulatory power toward dominant corporations under the guise of "economic stimulation" or "national competitiveness." It is a form of state-sanctioned wealth transfer that functions in reverse of its conventional theoretical definition, concentrating wealth at the top while being sold as necessary for "trickling" benefits down to workers or consumers.

In this context, it functions as:
  • Privatized Profits, Socialized Risks: The use of corporate influence to secure tax cuts, subsidies, and bailouts, while transferring the risks (debt, environmental damage, pension failures) to the public.
  • Policy Capture for Rent-Seeking: Government policy is crafted to maximize "rents" for corporations—increasing their wealth without creating new value, such as through monopolistic mergers approved by captured regulators or "stamped" legislation from special interests.
  • The "Uphill Torrent": Rather than wealth trickling down, corporate capture ensures that money flows upward from the middle class to shareholders and executives through mechanisms like share buybacks, reduced wages, and higher consumer prices, despite public investments.

Trickle up is simply a perversion by the state, as in Nazism, where the state picks the winners and losers.
Attributing what congress has done over several presidencies to the Republicans is as partisan as you can get. This is a Uniparty perversion.

Who is talking about establishing a permanent U.S. population in the Mideast? Trump has been talking about getting out of NATO. The U.S. doesn't need permanent involvement in the Mideast.
When Iran is dead, our involvement in the Mideast will be leveled off to an almost 0 degree.

We can list out ways both parties abuse the tax payers and probably agree on a lot of it but the trickle up, and the money to the Military Industrial Complex is largely a republican thing as the ones who start all the wars.

Trump has.

He wants to impose himself as ruler over Gaza and build out luxury properties there. He wants to pick Iran's next ruler.

These are things that lead to forever entanglement and are EXACTLY how and why Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations grew and focused on attacking the US homeland. You need a permanent presence to maintain those.

Oh and I should not forget this...

Historical analysis shows a shift over time: while Democrats were associated with major 20th-century wars like World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, since the 1990s, Republicans have been more frequently linked to launching new conflicts. For example, George H.W. Bush started the Gulf War, and George W. Bush initiated the post-9/11 wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. In contrast, Democratic presidents like Clinton and Obama engaged in military actions (e.g., Kosovo, Libya, drone campaigns) but often without large-scale ground invasions.
