If it was in his own home, I wouldn't have said a word. In fact, I would have defended his right to do so.

But this is not about him doing it at home. This is about him doing it at the in-house chapel in the Pentagon.

Catholics have other Good Friday services besides the Stations. There could have been a separate service; however Hegseth's brand of fundamentalism is probably prejudiced against Catholics.

A Catholic mass could have been performed before or after the Secretary's Good Friday service.


There is NO MASS on Holy Saturday....a day of silence.
