Even Trump is not denying it and is only saying maybe the US will get it in on it and split the payments via a "Joint Venture" because like any good mob boss he sees it is a great deal and money maker for Iran and his first instinct is not to try and end it but rather to get a cut.

Mine above is not. Trump made that statement yesterday recognizing Iran is control of a toll on the Strait and is considering negotiating in a potential cut in the action, since it seems he knows the US has no hand or power to prevent Iran from tolling it, plus like a good mob boss, why end a good racket when instead you can demand a cut?

Did you consider the US withdrawing from Afghanistan a loss for the US? Do you think the only reply is to support that war and its continuation is the only way for America to "not lose" and not "hate the POTUS" and anything else is "cheering for Afghanistan to win"?
Or do you recognize when it comes to the CHOICE and EXECUTION of any war, a Potus and his administration can be criticized RIGHTLY for that choice and a piss poor execution?
I am legit curious in your reply as you have not yet shown if you, like many other magats here were just a NeoCon in hiding? So you can simply answer my questions above replacing Afghanistan with "XYZ" as the question is a neutral non partisan one of whether or not you believe all US citizens must support AND AND ALL war choices and executions regardless.

Yes, because it clearly was. A rout, like that withdrawal turned into, was forced on the US military by Biden. He didn't have to order it. But then again, Biden had a near 50 year track record of wrong and bad decisions on foreign policy he was working from.
In this case, the only poor decision Trump has made so far is not carrying out strikes to their full conclusion. Truces and ceasefires just give the weak side--Iran in this case--time to recover for another round of fighting. Once you commit to war, don't commit halfway thinking it will work. That never does. Commit fully and destroy your enemy completely.
We'll see where this goes. It may well go back to the status quo from before the strikes. Iran backs off to avoid another round of bombing. Trump backs off because he thinks he won and got something from Iran which in reality is nothing. If so, Trump wasted our time and money on this endeavor.

You believe that a war can be CONSIDERED stupid, wrong, etc and the best way to support the troops and country is to oppose it and not wanted it started and want it ended if begun. That is a reasonable belief.
You also lay out here, that individuals who consider it will use their personal evaluation and judgement to determine that as you do with Afghanistan, an i agree with you. Neither of us can be considered a 'keeper of the Truth or Fact', as THIS IS JUDGEMENT and you and i judge Afghanistan was stupid, we should have come home, and it is not a lack of support to say it.
Based on YOUR reasoning above you CANNOT say another person has to think the Iran war was a good one or we should stay engaged or it means 'hate America', 'hate troops', etc, as that person could legit think, like you did with Afghanistan, it is a bad war.
And here is the part i think you might struggle with and lead you to a erroneous error.
IT DOES NOT MATTER if someone disagrees with your assessment on Afghanistan or my assessment on Iran. It is NOT ABOUT which assessment or opinion is more correct, if that can be proved. When it comes to 'supporting the troops or america' what MATTERS is the person belief at the time and NOT whether you can argue why you think them right or wrong. THEIR SUPPORT IS FOUNDED IN THEIR BELIEFS.

Your rant has little to do with my position. If you are going to start a war, have a plan to fight it to a decisive conclusion. From Truman on, the US has repeatedly NOT done that in most of the wars its fought. Instead, much like Israel has often due to outside pressure, the war is a brief impulse of violence followed by a ceasefire / truce that just lets the losing side rearm and have another go in a year or two. It becomes an endless cycle of violence.
Also, I can say that someone "hate(s) America" or "hate(s) (our) troops." When that person actively cheers achievements by the other side, that can be said. It is one thing to oppose the war, it's another to cheer when the US takes casualties or, in this case, Iran achieves some minor victory. I don't care what motivates their position, it's the position that really matters. There are those on this board, and in our society, rooting for Iran to win and America to lose.
