I do not know how often I have to say it, but I am very glad The PP has stopped the war. That is not what this is about.
The guy is ALWAYS lying and putting on a show. Many here fall for it. This is the most recent and maybe the biggest example, so yes, I want to point it out and see if I can figure out how his supporters think.
1) The PP issued a list of demands (did not really share with specificity) but one of the demands was to open Hormuz.
2) He said that if Iran did not agree with those demands he was going to rein hell on the entire nation, the likes of which have never been seen. This threat cause great anguish to many people in the region.
3) At the last second, he said they were discussing things (something he said a month ago and two weeks ago) and thus he was not going ahead with the reign of terror he threatened. (again, I am glad he backed down) Hormuz is still closed, and now they are charging for any small number of boats that they do allow through.
My point is that this type of circus tells the world we are not to be taken seriously, and our president's threats do not mean much. Additionally I want to understand the people who fall for it. They believe he has accomplished something. The truth is he needed to get this thing over because the walls were closing in. He made a mess and presents it as a polished trophy, and these dipshits fall for it. When confronted with the truth, they do anything they can to avoid discussing it, while claiming they are discussing it.
Now do you understand?
The war that Trump started is not over just because he didn't follow through with his war crimes.
