Again, the tax is on second and third homes in NYC that are owned by people living outside NYC, anything but the little old lady you described. It would fit Trump perfectly, but we know Trump doesn’t pay taxes

Were talking about different things.

As I stated in my opening post this thread is about mandamis proposed changes to the estate tax.

Your talking about the pied something tax that mandami did on second or third homes for people who live in NYC.

Im not actually opposed to what mandami did in the second instance. I dont understand what the utility is in having a home in NYC or anywhere really that you keep empty just because you visit the city once a year. We already have zoom and other tech which means you dont need to do that.
