The top 1% owns 30.5% of the assets in the USA, but only pays 2.1% of the payroll taxes.
I've always thought it fascinating how Reichwingers so steadfastly defend the uber wealthy and are appalled at the idea of them paying more taxes. Many corporations use loopholes and legal dodges to avoid taxes altogether. Why on Earth RWers think that's just fine is beyond me. They're sure been brainwashed.
That is about the size of things.
The only "jobs" these mega-zillionaires are creating are for their accountants, brokers, lawyers, and servants. But the idiots on the right have been told we mustn't tax them because then they won't create jobs.
