Trump says U.S. will begin guiding ships through Strait of Hormuz

Trump's announcement comes as a cargo ship near the Strait of Hormuz was attacked Sunday morning.

Once again Trump has humiliated the US by offering concessions for nothing. We are giving back the Touska to the Iranians and repatriating the sailors. To be clear I have no problem giving back the sailors to the Iranian embassy. They may as well pay for their upkeep and the alternative is just killing them. The problem I have is giving back the ship and cargo. That should be sold as prizes of war.

Trump has also set up the US for humiliation once again as we can watch tomorrow as no ship will follow his orders to cross hormuz and he ends up with another impotent threat.

I cant believe I ever supported this person.

I don't understand why the ship was given back. Is that part of the cease fire?

Or is it that it wasn't technically a war because Congress did not declare it. So then the ship cannot be considered a war prize.
