I am interested to hear, if you will venture an opinion, who do you like to be The PP's successor?

After the midterms, the presidential race will start and build...

Do you like the logical choice, J.D. or maybe skip him for Rubio, or do you have another in mind? Rubio and Vance are clearly not Trumppers in persona, but they share some of his politics...

Is there a dark horse that actually embodies Trump for the things you like about him?
 
Cruz/Rubio....or Cruz /T Scott, or Rubio/ Ron Johnson or Cruz/T Scott.

Ultimately I think it will most likely be Rubio/ Vance

i think if you asked this question prior to Trump going full NeoCon, the answer amongst magats here would have been over whelming JD Vance and his push of a America First, no foreign adventurism, no US as World's Policeman, agenda.

NOw that Trump is full NeoCon and the magats have pivoted i think you will over whelmingly see them pick Rubio who has always been amongst the most aggressive NeoCon's for decades with a strong belief that the US needs to project force as the Worlds Policeman.

No matter who it is NO PRESIDENT in our lifetime will ever threaten the behind the scenes REAL power structure the way Trump did ever again after seeing the hell on Earth Trump has been put through. They tried to drag him through the mud him at every turn, then they tried to bankrupt him, they tried to imprison him, then they even tried to murder him several times. Who the hell is ever gonna challenge the powers that be anymore after all that? NOBODY. That's why he has to get everything done THIS TERM or everything was in vain.

Not why I chose those two. I chose them because they have the best shot at WINNING. It is useless to back a candidate who cant win.

And mark my words,....Trump WILL get it all done this term,...because he has to. Even if it means dragging half the country where we need to go kicking and screaming the whole way. Where going somewhere that wont be able to be undone the minute a new POTUS takes over. It is what it is.......let the chips fall where they may.
 
Im thinking of throwing my hat in the ring anyway,...maybe I'll ask Top to be my running mate. We'll straighten this country out in no time! First things first,...Im raising taxes by at least ten % on all Democrat voters just for being Democrat voters. They should LOVE that,...after all they are big believers in paying higher taxes so I'll be happy to give them they're chance! ;) :ROFLMAO: Time to put the money where their mouth is!

I like the idiot Greg Abbott, the GOP's belated rebuttal to the wheelchair-bound FDR, as a GOP dark horse candidate. He may be a dark horse, but he's also the consummate manifestation of their primary requisite. He's a quintessential horse's ass.
 
I'm not nearly so interested in what Republican ends up on the ticket as I am that whatever Progressive Leftist the Democrats run doesn't get elected.

But you absolutely did pivot from campaign 'America First' support to 'Support endless wars or you are not a patriot' Neocon'ism, so even if you do not recognize it, there is little chance that does not play a part in your Rubio support when Magats supporting Trump destroying all the NeoCon interventionists trying to beat him in Primaries, prior, as they adopted an America First posture.

No,...I didn't, cant speak for anyone else but here goes.....Im actually glad you brought that up because I have been meaning to make things clear on my feelings toward the war. So,...I hate the war,...just as I do all wars. Where the problem comes in is I have VERY strong feelings about how the citizens of our country should act once a war begins. If a person wants to be against the war....FINE, I have no problems with that,...BUT..........once that first bomb falls we ALL have to get in line and act accordingly because those are our young men and women over there in danger. What we cant do is to be seen as basically ROOTING FOR IRAN, as some clearly are. That is totally wrong headed and it is being done purely for political reasons. We cant have that. In a time of war we MUST be unified. That bullshit all began in the Vietnam era when the left saw how they could use war as a political tool . Our enemies have been using it against us ever since. We need to be unified, even if you thought being involved in the war was wrong. We can get past those things AFTER the war,....NOT during.
 
Furthermore,....In plain English,...politicians be they right or left should for the most part stay the FUCK OUT of military decisions and let the U.S military do their job. Granted,....they need to give "some" input and maybe even restrain at times because sometimes Generals have their own ideas too that need to be held in check by the executive branch.....

This little game that politicians and their constituents have been playing since around 1967 or so is what leads to having our military diddle fuck around and try and fight wars with one hand behind they're backs and hopping on one foot! Once that first shot is fired it has to be ALL IN or nothing. Anything else gets our people killed and ends up being some long drawn out protracted ordeal that ends up a massive pile of shit.

I do not believe you.

I do not believe you got in line and supported Joe Bidens decisions as he did what no other POTUS prior would do and actually get the US out of that war and bring the US soldiers home.

I am certain you were not supportive or the 'troops and America' during that period.
