When it comes to Trump's ballroom, they still don't have a completed design. It's rather hard to build without that.

It is actually a stupid point.

Damocles time and again is trying to spin a false dilemma type position.

That because Dems disagreed with Trump breaking the law and ignoring all the rules and bodies Congress put in place that all major renovations have followed since Congress DELIBERATELY put in those rules... that then we own Trump coming back and saying 'ok you know that $200M ballroom i told you guys i was building, well it is now $1B or a 500% increase and i am still not going to follow Congress rules and laws'.

Obviously what Damo is pushing is deeply stupid.

Had Trump gone to Congress (his Congress) and did it properly or even got Congress to give a waver for him to use private funds and they voted and gave him that power, then have it.

When Trump is breaking the law and Congress rules in both situation none of that is on the Dems.

Trump is NOT going thru the normal channels in the first or second instance, so you can stop lying.

The "normal channels" involve the Executive submitting the plans to Congress and its agencies, those agencies doing their review, and a decision being made from that process that Congress then green lights or disallows.

The only thing Trump has done now is said 'I am building and the tax payers will pay for it'.

The Trump Gold Ballroom and souvenir Shop is a deal. He ignored the agencies which are supposed to oversee any changes and make sure the buildings architecture meets standards. He bulldozed half the White House without doing any diligence. This is a symbol of Trump's mental deficiency and self-centeredness. No other president would do such a thing.
