i am not so sure Trump would dump Melania. He seems clearly thirsty to the point of desperation for her attention, any attention, and risks trying to hold her in public hoping that she will allow that brief contact and 'not make a scene in public', as his gamble to 'go for it'. Of course she rejects him anyway in the most embarrassing ways. :ROFLMAO:

I don't care about the spouses of my doctors, my lawyer, my financial planner, nor my tax accountants.
I don't care about the spouses of my municipal or state officials. Why did the spouse of the POTUS become such an important public figure?

I don't think that it was foreseen by the founders, nor do I find it the least bit necessary. Melania Trump wasn't elected to do anything, although I can't imagine that she or anyone else could be any worse than her husband who catastrophically was.
