No, I don't. I expect people to make the most of their situation and work to improve it. As for veterans, most, the vast majority are very successful people. Sure there are failures too. I also don't count as a veteran someone who failed to finish their service honorably, particularly those with less than a year of service.

A good portion are also single mothers almost always due to stupid decisions they made with relationships. Not my problem.

Kids stuck in a homelife situation with loser parents who, variously, do drugs, crime, gang shit, and the like, or have loser on-again, off-again jobs don't do well into adulthood.
