I'm not at 250k yet, but I work every day to get there, and I will, and when I do, I am more than happy to pay more.

I rent for less than the other houses for rent at the time.

Its sound busniess practices.

I get to pick between more tenants and can get someone more likely to take care of my investiment.

Now my last tennents were given a month and a half of free rent.

They didnt want to leave.

I gave them that to compensate them for leaving a month earlier than the lease so I could reinhabit.

They were giddy at the offer and it paid for them to get into a new place.

Now fuck off super.

It's not hypocritical to believe that human life should not be staked on profits, that non-profit health care is the only humane course, and that letting people suffer and/or die should never, ever, be incentivized.

funny, but I am fairly certain having a roof over ones head increases a persons chance to stay healthy. As does eating. So we shouldn't have anyone making profits there either. For that matter, the less stress we have, the healthier we are, so daily massages should be given and that industry should also go without profit.

I know the health industry is a popular whipping post, but take a look at the precious national health care systems over in Europe. They ration health care by cost analysis. Look at Greece's recent decision... granted Greece is a severely fucked up country.... but that has to do with promising their citizens the world and then finding out the hard way that SOMEONE has to actually PAY for the promises. I wonder what lesson we could learn from that?
