As I said earlier in this thread... he admitted to it when he thought it was a private conversation. You used that to proclaim he would sing like a canary had they just arrested him. THAT is what I said was absurd. As far as what he would or would not have done, we don't know. But saying 'others have' is not justification for your position... because I can just as easily say... 'others haven't'. In addition, I stated earlier that admitting to a crime to the police when you know it will put you in jail is a very harsh deterrent to admitting guilt. Especially if you know you might walk.



so under our laws, he is considered a rapist? what law is that? i have no doubt that in reality this guy is most likely a rapist...and its a fucking pity he was never brought to trial...but you don't want to put the woman thought it despitre the fact she wanted her day in court...

Yes, because there is a huge difference between admitting it in a private conversation (which he thought it was) and admitting it to cops where you KNOW you will go to jail.

Actually this was a really good thread for a while, with a lot of good debate on it. Yurt came along and dragged it down in an obsessive bug-shagging nuts manner with his compulsive need, along with a couple of others here, to bring every thread into the cesspool of the lowest common denominator where they feel comfortable.
