A democrat cozies up to the wealthy and powerful corp = good

You have such a hard time separating concepts.

Both Obama & Pelosi are singling out policies & actions. They are not expressing points of view that are "anti-wealth" in general, or that indicates that they won't associate with or seek support from wealthy people (who they happen to be, also).

I realize you don't really understand that, but it is what it is.

I would add, I sorely wish that both Obama & Pelosi would take drastic action to further limit corporate money in politics, but realize that they will not, and that we're probably stuck w/ it.

your reading comprehension is horrible...i'm not talking about anti wealth, i'm talking about the hypocrisy of the left crying that the gop is the party for the wealthy, for corps, for wall street....but don't say shit when the left cozies up to them

obama flat out paints the gop as for the wealthy, as does pelosi...but neither of them have any problem sidling up to the same people they criticize the gop for and its absolutely dishonest or stupid of you to claim that the majority of the left does not cast the gop as the party for the wealthy, for the whites, for the corps, banks, wall street....seriously, you're making a fool out of yourself with these claims

No, I'm not. Again, it's just a stupid thread. The Democrats have always had wealthy friends & supporters - in addition to many of them being wealthy themselves. The article you posted for Obama had him opposing more tax breaks for the wealthy....that's a completely separate concept.

I can't make you understand it. I don't want the Bible taught in public schools, but I'm not anti-Christian, and I'm friends with Christians, and in fact, I happen to be Christian myself.

I didn't expect you to get it. I've become well-aware of your mental limitations.

When a Democrat does talk about the GOP being "the party of the wealthy" or some such phrase - and some occasionally do - they are talking about policies, Yurt. They're talking about taxation that favors wealthier groups, or loopholes for corporations, or opposing policies that give the poor & middle class a better leg up.

What they don't mean is "The GOP is made up of wealthy people who hang out with wealthy people, while us Democrats are all poor & middle class, and hang out with only others who are poor & middle class."

I mean, that's just dopey....

Only in Yurt-world. There is nothing hypocritical about him going to a fundraiser with Google & some rich people, unless he then comes out w/ some policy that is clearly influenced by favoritism toward Google or those donors.

Well, then maybe it's a good thing, because the 1990's saw 23.1 million jobs created, the most jobs created under any President since the Labor Department started keeping payroll records in 1939. It was a very prosperous time for Americans and we had a balanced budget and an erased deficit.

1. "they are talking about policies" - yes onceler, of course they are, why you have to keep repeating this as if it shows i'm wrong and you're wrong is beyond me....its like your just dumb

2. the thread title, i thought, was clear....dems love to bash republicans for cozying up to the corp interests, banks, wallstreet etc....but, when the dems do the same its not bad, its good
