Nancy Pelosi is really good at making people who don't want to vote for something vote for it. Which is why she's the leader in the house even though nobody likes her.

I've known several women like that. They threaten to ostracize you. Weenies go along and folks with backbone rebel, creating deep divisions. That's why she lost and is going down in flames.

You are right and I stand corrected. I'm on record stating that I wish the GOP had the balls that the Democrats did. After decades of having to deal with a GOP control of the House, Senate or Presidency, and watering down the Senate Filibuster rules to make a 60 vote majority necessary, they finally got all three. They did have huge balls to ram all those unpopular bills up America's ass.

Hopefully the GOP will have the same level of balls that the Democrats did and de-fund all the damage that they did, and extend the Bush tax cuts.

Hopefully The Obama will continue to have balls and veto everything that gets passed, ensuring a further defeat for himself as well as the Democrat Party.

Then hopefully the GOP will get control of all three and have the same level of balls that the Democrats did: cut spending by 5% every year while they are in control, cut corporate tax rates down to zero, get rid of the IRS as we know it by creating a flatter, simpler tax code that can't be manipulated by congress.

There is no way in hell Obama isn't going to veto anything that tries to repeal anything that he passed. The Republicans are going to have to get a supermajority in the senate to repeal healthcare. That would take at least two senate cycles as strong as the current one. It's never happened before but, again, good luck.

Nancy lives on my street only like 8 blocks down. If she brings it home I could try and go get it. Of course I would probably make the national news "some idiot calling himself cawacko tried to break into Ms. Pelosi's house to 'take back the gavel' he felt she took with her from Washington D.C."
 
She can keep the old gavel. The new speaker can go to the hardware store and get a nice 4# sledge and use that.
