Yeah, those charges were probably what kept him from getting elected Senator....right?
 
When certain parts of the American system are failing and performing far worse than models used in other nations, like in the healthcare area, maybe we should consider reforming. We should keep it shitty just so we can be unique.

Please, that just makes him qualified to run the FED or to hold any number of Cabinet positions.
 
As far as I can tell, this is old news.

Rubio did use a Florida GOP credit card at a Miami barber shop to pay for $130 worth of goods and services.

His campaign reported that his tab also included items purchased as gifts.

Rubio repaid the charges on his GOP credit card out of his own pocket.

Good luck with those charges...
 
The guy is carismatic and knows how to say the correct words. I dont really have a problem with the credit card.

My problem with him is what I belive to be a misunderstanding of American Freedom and how capitolism works and how it has worked as a blended system that does not work in its pure form.
 
I find Rubio impressive

So does Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh and Grover Norquist.

I would consider that before I jumped on a wagon that would throw you off.

You have some specific examples of how these 'endorsements' are damning?

Not that they'd tell you anything about Rubio, particularly.

Personally, I don't find guilt by association a reliable indication of character.

Has Rubio done/said something that makes you distrust him?

If he passes Norquist's purity test, then he doesn't pass mine. He is not for the people, he is for the corporations and elite.

On foreign policy, he is a neocon.

If you need to know more about Norquist, I suggest you read up on him. If you don't know what the neocons caused, we have a real problem in this country.

I am a long way from ever voting for another Republican for national office. The party and radical ideologues like Norquist control the candidate and the office holders. John McCain wanted Joe Lieberman or Tom Ridge as a VP, the party forbid it. There would have been a fight to the death on the floor of the convention. So we ended up with an empty vessel that believes God will return to rule over earth in her lifetime, and the non believers will be incinerated.

I STRONGLY suggest you research what has happened to the Republican party. It has been taken over by theocrats and neocons. BOTH are authoritarian and deadly to democratic societies.

Why do you want to replace the president we have? He has done about as good as any one man could do, considering his own party is so inclusive he has Democrats that vote with Republicans, and an opposition party that is out to destroy him, even if it takes the country with it.

Do you really want MORE conservatives on the Supreme Court? Citizens United v. FEC makes Dred Scott v. Sandford look like a parking ticket. It is the most egregious and destructive ruling in history. It will turn America into another Soviet Union with a Politburo and an environmental landscape that will resemble a nuclear explosion.
