GOP Leaders: Sarah Palin Must be Stopped

Last night, Politico posted an anonymously-sourced story reporting that advisers to top potential 2012 Republican presidential candidates are united in their desire to stop Sarah Palin from winning the presidential nomination out of a fear that she would lose badly in the general election.

The thought of Sarah Palin winning the GOP Presidential nomination is rather disturbing. I'm sure she's a fine person, but she isn't even remotely qualified to be President (couldn't win even if she tried) and would be a terrible embarrassment to the party. Most disturbing is the feasibility of this actually occurring. As demonstrated by her ability to unseat several fine, respectable Senatorial candidates in exchange for lowlife nutwings, Palin has clout with the extreme right, and that's scary as hell.

I have heard from people who helped her become governor that she is not a fine person. She stabbed a lot of people in the back on her way to the top!

yep, the fact is unless something drastically changes in the next year or two in a national election she would not be able to win enough of the independant vote needed to win an election. This has nothing to do with her personally it's just an electoral reality.

Sarah Palin possesses a unique talent. It is a talent which will, inevitably, preclude her from any serious attempt to secure a position of responsiblity.

Like a lot of people she talks too much, but her uniqueness lies in the fact that she says absolutely nothing.

It has everything to do with her personality, otherwise, she would come in and come on like Obama did!

She also quits when the going gets to tough, first it was our energy commission and then it was governor! She can't hang when people start to attack her! She would melt down at the first press conference.

She also did not govern herself as mayor of Wasilla, she had other people do the hard work and as governor she hired all her ignorant friends! She left Wasilla with a huge debt! She is terrible, and the only thing she is good at is cheer leader and beauty queen! Reality shows are their niche! I think they should stick with entertaining us and nothing serious!
