California May Consider Arizona Type Immigration Law

(Sacramento, CA) -- Californians could follow in the footsteps of Arizona in voting on an immigration law. The California Secretary of State's Office has approved an effort to begin collecting the nearly 434-thousand signatures of registered voters needed to put a proposition on the ballot. It would require police who stop people for any offense to check immigration status if there's a reasonable suspicion the offender might be in the U.S. illegally. It would also require employers to check the immigration status of anyone they're considering putting on the payroll.

This is going to be..............................interesting
