I did not and do not approve of what Rangel did, so why don't you go back to pissing in your own face!
I don't even know that I have commented on Rangel that much. I only stated that he was re-elected by 80% in his district so they must not care.
So blow that out you old wrinkled wazoo!

Nancy had four years to change it. I could be wrong but I don't recall making any attempt. Not sure how many people you are going to get running for Congress if they can have no investments or zero ties to any industry.

Blind trusts are intended so that when investing he doesn't use his position as a congressman to influence his investments or profit from his insider knowledge of how pending regulations or laws will impact those investments. It's both an ethical and legal thing for him to do. This is one of those false outrage politics of personal destruction thing that I despise. Boehner's done nothing wrong here.

But that is what a blind trust is Rana. His financial advisors make those investments for him with out his knowledge so that their can be no appearance of a conflict of interest.

It says they told him...am I reading too much into this? I really do need a little clarification on what is a blind trust! Did they pick them or did he, they advised him, but did he still choose? It just seems a little TOO timely to me!

Rangel should be charged with a crime, found guilty, and sent to prison....but because he is a Democrat, he will walk with a mild scolding......

The tax rates in 2011, whatever they will be, will have no effect on transactions done, and money earned in 2009....

you were saying he benefits from the tax cuts. I agree in the sense everyone who pays taxes benefits but guess I was asking how does he benefit?
