times are bad, so bash minorities, especially immigrants (LEGAL OR ILLEGAL)
 
Congress has no power on its own to change citizenship by birth. It is a right bestowed by the Constitution and the Constitution would have to be amended to change that.

Part 2. 1:20 - 2:00 minutes. Mr. Eastman compares the arguments supporting illegal alien citizenship to the arguments used to support slavery. Then he continues saying the Democrats, being a social welfare party, obtain power from citizens who depend on government entitlements, a sub-class of citizens.

The man has twisted everything around. First, illegal aliens do not benefit from social welfare policies. They are not entitled to social benefits. Second, the Democrats want illegal aliens, that sub-class, to become full fledged citizens. If the Democrats were benefiting from illegal aliens they would not want policies changed. They would want illegal aliens to stay illegal aliens.

Mr. Eastman's hypocritical, disingenuous concern regarding illegal aliens is sickening. He further comments the Republican Party top business people want illegal aliens for their cheap labor. If the illegals had citizenship they wouldn't be cheap labor.

The man is bogus!

perhaps, if they can figure out a way to get the vote for illegal aliens....otherwise, they need to make them citizens...

My point was the crap Mr. Eastman was spouting about his supposed concern for illegal aliens. The guy is 100% hypocrite comparing them to slaves.

I don't care....my response was to your statement that illegal aliens don't get welfare......that statement was either made in ignorance or dishonesty....I simply corrected your statement with fact.....

And I'm asking how do they receive welfare without proper identification?

If it is a big problem it is easily solved. If legitimate US citizens are kicked off welfare how do illegal aliens qualify?
