Yeah, Obama sure can pick 'em.....

During an exclusive dinner hosted Monday by the Alfalfa Club, Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett...was seated at the head table along with several other big-name politicians and a handful of high-ranking military officials. As an officer sporting several stars walked past Jarrett, she signaled for his attention and said, "I'd like another glass of wine." Garçon! White House economic adviser Austan Goolsbee, who was seated next to Jarret, began "cracking up nervously," our tipster said, but no one pointed out to Jarrett that the man sporting a chestful of medals was not her waiter.

If there is any substance to it then it was probably a joke. I can't imagine that anybody would seriously say garçon otherwise. It looks like somebody was trying to whip up a bullshit story to make mischief and/or money.

Sounds really similar to the story that went around a few months ago. An anonymous "tipster" said Obama's trip to India would cost $2M/day, and we all know how that turned out.

But you know, boneheads like bravo will swallow anything as long as it's a slam at the administration.

Ahhhh, but there's the thing Tom.

If you re-read the article carefully, you will see the word "Garcon" isn't included in the quote of what Ms Jarrett allegedly said.

This is just another attempt to heap ridicule on the Obama administration.
