Trump produces his birth certificate

Your man crush Obama hasn't released his yet.

He is right though, that this is not an actual birth certificate-it does however have the attending phycisians signature of birth in an American hospital. What Obama has produced is copy that is an electronic file. That copy does not have the name of the hospital or attending phycisian. I read an interesting article about births that do not take place in an American hospital-say home births. What you do is take in the notarized signature of any attending "midwife"- this could even be the father- to the county clerks office for filing and you will get a certificate of live birth. It was speculated that Obama's mother did this to obtain her sons certificate of live birth and that is why there is not a document with an attending phycisians signature~

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm definitely pretty stoked.

Me too. A well-heeled birther that is unlikely to be the Republican nominee (unless it turns out he is right)... It's like having your VP candidate go out on the attack, except he won't be associated with the campaign.

The more birther-ism is in the news, the worse it is for the GOP. Glad you're stoked about it, as well.

If it were associated with the party, maybe. Since it is associated with The Donald, not so much. And I think you are wrong about the impact it may have. When only 42% of America are as sure as you are, it doesn't make the other side "the fringe"...

Can you link that 58% poll you have been referring to?

I still belive this only helps the President to paint his opposition as WHACKO.

Donald Trump has associated himself pretty closely with the Republcan party lately, Ive heard him on Rush and Hannity and he is running for the Republican Nomination for Preisdnet.

I just LOVE that The Donald tried to make some sort of splash or swipe at the presidnet but was not able to produce a Birth Certificate himself.

Here we are again. I am almost 100% certain I posted the poll for you before.

To which you said, "I read it differently than you."

Which I doubt. Only 42% are certain that Barack Obama was born in the US, let alone Hawaii...

I'll use it to test out the table code that I created:

[th]Options [/th][th]All Americans [/th][th] Democrats [/th][th] Independents [/th][th] Republicans [/th]

Definitely born in U.S. 42% 64% 37% 23%

Probably born in the U.S. 29% 21% 31% 34%

Probably born in another country 16% 7% 17% 27%

Definitely born in another country 11% 8% 12% 14%

No opinion 2% 1% 2%3%

Note, how many of them "Definitely" think he was born in the us. 58% have at least some small doubt. The idea that it is some "fringe weirdos" who have some curiosity is insane projection.

Anyone else notice that Trump's name makes baldness ads appear?
