Victory Shall Be Mine
Since C02 is a green house gas and the amount of C02 released into the atmosphere increases every year does that mean that the theory of global warming must be true?
Even if global warming isn't happening now it must happen in the future. The higher the concentration of co2 gets in the atmosphere the more effect it will have in the atomsphere. Once enough c02 is released to greatly increase carbon concentration in the atmosphere its effects as a green house gas will come into play. So the question scientists need to answer is at what level does c02 need to reach to cause climate change. If the amount all ways increases it must eventually reach a high level.

It gets fuzzy, because at a certain point, quite a few natural triggers kick in (even if AGW it true).

There really isn't much we as a species can do about it.

tinfoil needs to chime in. He knows more than most about this issue. Basically only so much warming can come from CO2, you need other warming gasses to make a Venus.

the real warming will come from increased water vapor which supposedly results from the extra CO2 forcing by causing more evaporation. The question is :how much more warming does CO2 cause? The first 90% of CO2 greenhouse effect is from the first 10 PPM (ten parts per million .000001%).

It's a logrithmicly decreasing effect as concentration increases and the extra effect approaches zero as concentration gets over 500PPM.

If you know anything about math you can see that it's impossible for CO2 to cause runaway warming
