Surely you jest, as I find it difficult to believe you could be that stupid. Linking to an article does not break the law, at least in the United States it doesn't. Besides, Wired is a reputable publication. The reason I posted the article is to demonstrate that the war on drugs cannot be won. It is an insane, futile effort that must be brought to an end.

It is not for you to say the war on drugs cannot be won unless it is simply an opinion. To post details of a seller of illegal substances is, in itself, irresponsible if not illegal.
However I am not surprised that this should be done by an American. A citizen of one of the most hypocritical nations on the planet. Drugs, porn, guns - and the most ridiculous thing of all is that people like you bemoan the fact that your country is heading for the sewer and have the cheek to blame politicians.
You may support the legalisation of drugs but at this time drugs are not legal. You are therefore encouraging people to break the law.

Wow, I guess you are that stupid. It is now evident to me why people call you LowIQ. And no, it's not an opinion, it's a fact. Even proponents of the war on drugs admit it cannot be won. There will never be a day when drugs are not sold illegally.

Once again I feel happy at not being an American. You must lead a sad and unfulfilled life if you have to rely on drugs. You must also be pretty immature. You seem to be proud of breaking the law. Very strange.

If the law on drugs is, in your opinion, wrong, then what about the law on murder? Oh, of course its not the same is it? The law on murder is designed to stop people killing other people, while the law on drugs is ... ohhh yes. D'you like Mexico and Columbia as holiday destinations?

That was Richard Nixon's reaction to his national commission's recommendation that marijuana no longer be a criminal offense, according to Nixon's Oval Office tapes. The year after Nixon's "all out war" marijuana arrests jumped by over 100,000 people.
Highlights of Nixon comments on marijuana:

Here is the U.S. if we disagree with the law, we don't just say, hey that's the freaking law, live with it. We try to change the law, whether through legislation, lobbying, activisim, commentary or civil disobediance. The battle to end the war on drugs has been a long and costly one, and is finaly nearing fruition (hopefully). It is disapointing to me that one as bright as yourself is completely unaware of this. Additionaly, your acusation of criminality by the OP is entirely false.

What I am saying is that while the law is in place it should be upheld and obeyed for the sake of society in general. To change a bad law you use the ballot box, debate, argument, persuasion. You don't simply and mindlessly disobey.
What would become of society if people just took it into their own heads to disobey laws with which they did not agree? Scrap speed limits because we all drive better at 80 than we do at 30? Scrap drink driving laws because as we all agree we drive better with a few beers inside us.
No, if we choose community living, and we all do save for one or two hermits, we should respect those with whom we share. Many laws are chaged, many go out of favour, many become unworkable. It is the job of our legislators to change the laws to which we have agreed to abide.

The war on drugs is an unbearably expensive failure, imprisoning some men for 20 years for possession of a partial weed fag. Disproportionately, these men are black and fathers. this is just one sliver of the tentacles of this unjust war which benefits none justly. At this time our legislators are and represent oligarchy, not the will of and what is best for the people.
Your veiw of this is as simplistic as Dixie's general political outlook.
