If there was a government medical data base doctor shopping in order to get additional meds would be a thing of the past. A doctor in NY would know if a doctor in California wrote a prescription for controlled substances. Also, pharmacists would be able to track prescriptions that had been filled.

Just one more advantage to government medical.

There are already data bases-it's how she eventually got caught. Data bases for storing medical information is not an original idea by Obama...and not why the majority of American's are against Obamacare; though the idea that a national data base would/could then be used to limit care is a real concern if tied to government managed/run health care.

why don't we just have the government tattoo barcodes in to our skin and database track all purchases and activities? that way, society can be well regulated and highly peacable.
