White House photo sparks protest

and how quickly onceler resorts to his trolling hacktard posts. anytime someone posts something negative about obama, they hate him and have ODS. hell, even when i've created threads giving kudos to obama you come trolling in and claim i still hate him and am giving him kudos to falsely show i really don't. it doesn't matter with you, you're a hack. i could praise obama and you wouldn't believe it because you hate so much. you're psychotic.

the agreement was NO PHOTO. period. obama did not abide by that agreement. period.

That's an ironic post considering your previous statement: "that was hyperbole no doubt. it is fun to use once in a while to get you lefties to shat yourselves."

That pretty much defines "trolling hacktardedness".....

and you never use hyperbole to get a rise....lmao...once again the double onceler standard

you're just upset because i honestly admitted it was hyperbole. you are pissed off because i don't lie. you were hoping so bad to catch me, but you failed. poor little onceler.

I don't use hyperbole to get a rise. That's practically the definition of trolling.

Thanks for finally admitting that you're a dishonest troll.

funny how you guys can speak for the families of the dead. they were upset and rightly so. they aren't your family.

Funny how you are doing the same fucking thing.

Pentagon officials had said that because 19 of 30 of the American families of the dead had objected to media coverage of the remains coming off a plane at Dover Air Force Base, no images could be taken. In addition, the Pentagon rejected media requests to take photos that showed officials at the ceremony but did not depict caskets.

The MEDIA was banned. The MEDIA did not cover the event. READ the above from your OP..... the MEDIA was banned from covering the remains coming off the plane per the families wishes. IN ADDITION.... the PENTAGON rejected requests from the MEDIA to take photos that showed officials at the event, but no caskets.

Try reading next time.

IN NO WAY was this 'spitting on the dead' or whatever other nonsense you brought up.

right.... NO images could be taken of the remains coming off the plane. So obviously you have no problem with this portion.

oh i get it, the public media can't take pictures, but obama can use the official wh media to publish the photo.

now that is a bald face lie. you never use hyperbole to get a rise. you do it all the time when you're insulting people. like i said, you're just mad because i'm honest and honestly admitted it was hyperbole. you're angry because you have yet to catch me in one lie.

carry on hack

lol...so obama is not using the photo as the media would? dude...he used it as a photo op, it was media, just HIS media.

1) Does the Pentagon command the White House or the other way around?

2) The request from the families was that the media not cover the removal of remains from the plane. That was respected.

3) It was the PENTAGON that added on to reject the media from the other photos. Not the families, hence AGAIN... your comment that Obama was spitting on the dead is nothing short of absurd. PERIOD.

You really are the luckiest person alive. You are far too ignorant to have survived this long without an immense supply of luck.

The White House controls the WHITE HOUSE photographer. What do you suppose would have happened if they allowed the MEDIA (and yes, there is a difference) to photograph Obama and other officials with a pinky swear that they would not take photos of the caskets and one of the media had ignored that and done so anyway?

This way it was controlled. It was one photographer who worked for the President. If you can't distinguish the difference, then you are an idiot.

The media were not permitted at the dignified transfer ceremony in accordance with the wishes of (some of) the families of the deceased. The White House photographer is not a member of the media.

Doug Wilson, head of public affairs at the Pentagon, said the department did not know the White House photographer was present and had no idea a photo of the event was being released until it became public. He said the photographers who routinely travel with the defense secretary and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were not allowed to go to the event, and no official Pentagon photos were taken or released.

you're seriously off the mark here. the whole point was that there be zero photos released to the public. obama disregarded those wishes and the agreement the pentagon established and brought his own photographer and published those photos through HIS media. you can't seriously claim that WH website is not media. you can't seriously claim that the president publishing that photo for a photo op is obama not using the media. good lord, that is the most asinine logic.

my good lord....another who claims the WH photographer who published the photo on the WH website is not media. the entire point was there was to be ZERO photo's released to the public. the pentagon did not even have their photographers there. they did know the WH brought theirs.

is the height of stupidity to claim that obama publishing the photo on the WH website for a photo op is not media. once obama published that photo, it was in fact media and as we can all see, it had the same effect as if the media was there and releasd the photo.

According to Yurt, the impending strike against Osama bin Laden was leaked to the media before the mission was accomplished. How else could we have this photograph? It was taken by the White House photographer, a member of the media:

and now we have the lies pouring in. i never said the WH photographer is a member of the media.

is it your claim that publishing the photo on the WH website is not at all any form of media? yes or no.

Who said that the point was that there would be zero photos released to the public? The point was to bar the media from being present at the dignified transfer ceremony.

I'm construing the term "media" consistent with what is also commonly referred to as the "news media," as in the print media (newspapers, news magazines and online news services) and the broadcast media (television and radio news). The media were barred access to the ceremony in accordance with the wishes of the families of (some of) the deceased.

Claiming that the release of picture of the president at the ceremony which was taken by the White House photographer (whose presence was so overtly conspicuous that the Pentagon had no idea he was there until the photograph was released) is the functional equivalent to having reporters and photographers from ABC, NBC, CBS, FOXNews, CNN, Bloomberg, the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, the Associated Press, the Washington Post, the L.A. Times and cetera present at the ceremony is beyond asinine.
