Blacks And Politics

Poet is a Christian too.

Right. And I try not to condemn people on the basis of who they love, what religion they are, the color of their skin, or their politics (which is the absolute hardest, and one I fail at, repeatedly)
Christ said not to judge. He was tolerant and compassionate. Virtues virtually missing from this forum and from the right. Everybody claiming to be a Christian, ain't. And you said that, to say what?

Christ judged the woman at the well. He told her "Go and sin no more".

Christ also said marriage was between a man and a woman in Matthew 19.

Looks like Christ did "judge". The Greek word translated as "judge" into English actually means "to condemn". None of us can condemn anyone, but Christ is the judge. You will stand before Christ on judgement day. However, none of us can condemn (be the judge) of anyone. We do, however, make judgements about many things that are either right or wrong. If none of us could judge right or wrong, then we wouldn't know what is right or wrong, would we.

Did he? Is that what you made of his actions? Well, aren't you the dumbest forum member? What judgment did he decree? What were the consequences? You can twist and spin all you like.

He also said:

19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
19:11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

How many forum members, here, do you think have committed adultery? And what of eunuchs? In what sense did he mean it? Scripture can be interpreted many ways, by many different people.
And excuse me, but you just contradicted yourself, yet again. You say in one breath, that Jesus is the sole judge, and then caveat by saying that we make judgments ( in lieu of Christ!!!) Make judgments about yourself, about right and wrong...and keep silent about anyone else, as if you have no sin, blame or condemnation. What are you thinking?
Either Christ is the JUDGE or you are. STFU. It's about editing and checking yourself....not others. All you have direct control over are your actions, and direction. Do you know the first step of any 12-step program?????????????????????? Look it up.

Jesus told the woman at the well....."Go and sin no more". Interpret that. Thanks.

That was The Word of God telling her to stop sinning.

Give me your interpretation.
He gave her another choice. The decision was entirely hers to make. Please tell me the hour and the day you chose to stop sinning, oh-holier-than-thou? If you sin, which, I'm sure you'd admit to...then why, oh, why, do you continually point fingers at others as if you don't? She may or may not have listened to Christ...so tell me, what's your excuse?
Interpret that.

No did not give her a choice. His final words to her were "Go, and sin no more".

You just can't stop lying. You're a very sick person, Poet. You need help.

Who was he to her? A man, the Savior? Whom? You don't know...you weren't there. Folks talk nonsense to me, all day, everyday...doesn't mean I respond.
If you think that I'm sick, then I must be the wellest person on Earth. The grave that you've crafted for me, will be your own.

Poet is a Christian too.

He well be. One thing is certain though. You do not have one ounce of christianity within you. You do not even know what a christian is. You are the worst scum to slither over the earth proclaiming belief in christianity and condemning everyone with whom you disagree. Christian. Buddy you are a laugh a minute.
And guess what, for all your quoting and praying you will rot in the ground and push up daisies or be burned in a furnace to be sprinkled on some rose bush just like me. Even if there was something people like you call heaven (and it is patently obvious to anyone with a brain there is not) you would not qualify. Jesus, if we are to believe those who wrote at approximately the time, had nothing in common with the likes of you who have invented an alien and ridiculous belief which preaches hatred and intolerance.
I do not know if Poet is a christian, jew, hindu or moslem and I don't care.
I am not a christian nor do I abide by any rules save those devised by man for man.
