Wall Street "Occupiers" Demands

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending “Freetrade” by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand four: Free college education.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America’s nuclear power plants.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the “Books.” World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the “Books.” And I don’t mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

First of all I had to wait until I could stop laughing, I started reading these and just couldn't believe it. Number eleven just left me speachless, they've got a name for that guys, its called bankruptcy, it means that nobody would ever loan anybody in the US money ever again. Twelve was good too, and pretty much all of them made me laugh, the funniest was ten in conjunction with seven, all voting on paper ballots and one trillion dollars into ecological restoration????

Maybe we could do 9, open the borders then shut them once all these guys are gone.

I saw one of the protesters on TV who said she was protesting because nobody should get a big bonus. Honestly, that was it. She kept repeating it as if it were some holy scripture. When she was asked if it should be "to everybody according to their needs, from everybody according to their ability" she said yes, and when told that she was then Marxist she denied it then she repeated the "nobody should get big bonuses, nobody needs that much"...

I'm not sure most of them have any idea what they are protesting. They just know that they don't like something.

a reset button for everyone? I must say, while obviously extreme, I would enjoy watching the after math of such a strategy. The vast majority of the world would benefit..... the Chinese government would be a tad pissed though.

I understand the sentiment, but I think we can get by with making these credit reporting agencies divulge their process for raising and lowering credit scores. I have seen clients with one missed payment drop 100+ points over night. Yet it then can take 5-7 years to get your score back up? That is bogus....

I wouldn't have a problem with getting rid of them though. Make banks loan based on current income/assets.

What they don't like is that Wall Street is filled with criminals who suffered no prosecutions for their criminal acts. What they don't like is that no one demanded any real change and in fact, the banks are in it up to their necks again and the next time they can't cover their losses and pull a too big to fail, you might be the guy who loses his job and is deemed unemployable because you're over 40.

Don't steal from the hungry to give to the rich.

STOP LISTING DEMANDS


The opponents of this movement are using the demands posted in this forum as the official lists. And some of these lists regardless of how right or wrong are extreme points of view and will only hurt our cause by making us look like extremist nut jobs. You don't speak for everyone in this. Stop creating public demand lists, delete demands threads. Let the organizers and the law team working for them do this.
