The majority of WWII, the majority of destruction, and the majority of the deaths, occurred in Europe, not Russia. It's really lame to point to WWII as the reason Communism failed, since Russia ultimately controlled the German capital of Berlin, and along with the Allies, defeated Germany in WWII. If you want to continue to be a retard and pretend the Commie was right and I was wrong, you are entitled to be a retard, it's a free country.

The Earth's resources belong to whomever is resourceful enough to retrieve and use them.

For example. The guy who buys the steel from the miner to make an automobile that you drive to work so you can pay for an internet connection to tell me that your car no longer belongs to you because it is made from the "Earth's Resources" that "belong to everybody"...

Utter nonsense. I have no use for Uranium... I don't want it. Now I like electricity, if somebody is resourceful enough to get it from the ground, and use it to make me electricity... That stuff belongs to them and they deserve the profit they get for selling me the end result for use of their uranium. They placed themselves in danger to bring me a nice safe product at the end....

So on. I don't understand people who think the labor and use people put something to belongs to some "other" person simply because they are capable of breathing. Utter and complete nonsense. If you want some, earn it. The miners do, those who drill the oil earn it, those who create from that product deserve the added value profit they bring... You don't get a dime because you didn't do it.

Best response yet on this thread. By the way, this (the OP) is the craziest notion I have seen so far from those on the left. It seems they want to pool everything and split it up so that every breathing person has the same amount, no matter how hard they work. Try that and see how long things get done. I am far from a "righty" on fiscal issues but this way of thinking takes the cake.

You are incorrect. Russia had about 9-10 MILLION military deaths and another 12-15 million civilian deaths caused by the war. As a percent of their population at the time, only Poland was anywhere close to that of the Russia. In terms of raw numbers, only China was close to more deaths. Germany also lost a lot, but the majority of their deaths were also in Russia, not the European theater.

Russia and China combine for about 2/3 of the total deaths (military and civilian)... that leaves 1/3 for Europe/US... and since 1/3 doesn't exist...

WOW! I totally think that you mis-understand what I am saying. That is not anywhere remotely close to what I said. You seem to be describing Communist Russia(Which was not actually socialism).

What I am speaking of is something totally different.

What people earn extracting/harvesting, ect...the resources, is another story. The guy that works harder, should get more fruits of his labor. This has nothing to do with what is done with the after product.

I'm saying the profits of the resources that are dug up are sold(and profit) used for the common good. Education, Healthcare, law enforcement, social security, ect...

Today, the resources are sold to individuals and they use the profits for their selfish desires. Heck they don't even wanna pay their taxes!

Thank you. I can elaborate but why bother. Russia took the biggest loses(in manpower and resources) in both world wars.

Dumb dumb dumb.......Once you purchase those resources or products it now belongs to the purchaser. The issue is where the profits of the inital sale of resources(who belong to the people) go.

Isn't this a message board where anyone can post? Think about it? Ok the uranium cannot be utilized by me or you. Though the uranium should still be ours to sell. Our government has been selling our uranium mines to foreign countries and when the world goes nuclear? Who will be making the money? Who will control the supply? Who will we be dependent on? Foreigners........

Now when we buy electricity produced from that uranium, it becomes more expensive because another middleman is added, and if many more middle men are adding, we are paying for very expensive electricity, that should have cost us much less.

I'd rather have the country not sell the uranium(so politicians can't pocket the money). Produce our own electricity(Canada's Hydro used to be government run). So Canadians can have cheaper electricity.

Canadians have been slowly privatizing our Hydro companies, having middlemen(hydro companies) buy hydro from our government and the result is our energy costs seem to be sky rocketing. Electricity has triple in cost in the last few decades.

How many deaths happened inside the Russian borders? I want actual body count totals, not your guestimations, and I want some source cited, so I can verify you are being honest, you have a history of making shit up to try and look smart here.
