SURVEY SHOWS TEA PARTY IS LOSING SUPPORT -- IN TEA PARTY DISTRICTS

A new Pew Research Center survey finds more Americans now disagree with the Tea Party movement than agree with it -- 27 percent disagree and 20 percent agree. Last year, those numbers were flipped.

The poll lends credence to the idea that the Tea Party is hurting the Republican Party. Research shows overall support for the GOP is down in districts represented by Tea Party Caucus members: 48 percent reported having an unfavorable view of the GOP vs. 41 percent who held a favorable view. Interestingly, the loss of support for the Republican Party dropped even further in these conservative districts than in districts not represented by Tea Party members.

The research was conducted from Sept. 22 to Oct. 4 and surveyed 345 adults.

yeah, those two situations taught us lessons that will never be forgotten, like numbers matter and head on confrontations never work. that's why different tactics will be used in the future.

Are you fucking stoned? It doesn't matter what letter is after their name, they all do the bidding of whoever pays the most.

The whole reason the Tea Party isn't working is because all of the members have Rs at the end of their name.
If the Tea Party is ever going to get what it wants, it will have to elect a lot of members with a D at the end of their names, also.
That's not going to happen without some serious re-branding, to such an extent that it seems impossible.

Your party has been fataly taken over by the GOP.

Take a minute and look at the GOP. The GOP is not fiscally conservative and hasn't been for 30 years.
Do you deny this? The GOP is most representative of the 1% only. Anyone who is not a 1% and votes for the GOP
is voting against their own interests.

All this is is a tussle between us and them. Why would you agree to givving them more and more of the money (power) then complain when they take away your freedoms with that power?
